Role: New Business Development Executive

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Realistic 1st year OTE: £40,000 - £55,000

Location: Windsor

I am recruiting for an Account Executive to join my client’s UK Headquarters in Windsor.

You will be responsible for selling digital media campaigns and event sponsorships in the cyber security arena.

To be successful in this Business Development Executive role, you will need to have experience in the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

  • Reach out to prospects.
  • Respond to proposals.
  • Network with potential clients to find other relevant contacts who may have interest in sponsorship/advertising opportunities.
  • Selling lead generation, sponsorship/brand awareness and event advertising options including: banner ads, e-news sponsorships, webinars, podcasts, custom content etc.
  • Generate new business.
  • Conduct sales presentations.
  • Working off a defined account list to find decision-makers and identify prospects.
  • Maintaining relationships with current customers to maximize repeat business.


    To succeed in this Business Development Executive role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-3 years of advertising sales experience.
  • Knowledge of digital media products.
  • Experience in selling to advertising agencies would be preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Master at objection handling.
  • Must have a strong command on technology use.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to concisely convey value proposition.
  • German, French or Spanish language skills would be a bonus.
  • Cyber Security knowledge is desirable, but not essential.
