Digital Marketing Executive

£35,000 + Bonus


Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will focus on making a significant contribution towards customer growth and retention.

In this role you will develop digital marketing strategy, tactics and campaigns that drive conversions through each stage of the marketing funnel.

You will draw on your experience across organic search, eCommerce, website design and development, digital content, Google Ads, social media, e-mail and direct response marketing.

You’ll produce a range of internal and external campaigns across the UK that drive brand awareness, lead generation including purchase and loyalty towards B2C and B2B customer groups.

You will bring your wealth of experience to the advancement to my client’s digital marketing strategy design and implementation including creating lead generation and conversion activities that are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Responsibilities (include but not be limited to):

  • Develop an integrated digital marketing strategy for the company (58 stores) incorporating website, SEO, Google Ads, display advertising, Google / Bing search, Social Media, blogs, e-mail mail, eCommerce and PR activities that increase B2B and B2C lead generation and conversion.
  • Manage external agencies, building relationships, negotiating new contracts and price, holding annual reviews and ensuring all activity is carried out within budget.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs.
  • Evolve Access’s social media strategy across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Tumblr and YouTube to generate leads as well as delivering optimised content for additional use within website(s), blogs & CRM communications
  • Work with digital partners to design, implement and measure web, SEO, Social Media channels, email campaigns Google Ads performance to increase click through, dwell time, organic / paid traffic and conversions whilst reducing bounce rates.
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and offer recommendations that ensure Access stays at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing, eCommerce & CRO.
  • Enhance Access’ content marketing strategy to strengthen the company’s ability to identify, design and run highly segmented and personalised campaigns.
  • Collaborate with broader marketing team and agency partners to identify and optimise key customer website journeys, through the design and implementation of implicit and explicit website personalisation.
  • Work with operation and sales teams to deliver ideas and content for marketing campaigns, channels and collateral and HR to post new job roles on social media channels.
  • Analyse website, SEO and Google Ads performance through Google Analytics and other tools, creating performance reports and making recommendations to improve conversions.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in UK B2C / B2B digital marketing to both large companies and SMEs.
  • Proven digital channel growth, delivered through expert knowledge of content management systems including Sitecore, WordPress and Magento (eCommerce), marketing automation platforms including Marketo, Hubspot and Pardot and e-mail marketing platforms like MailChimp, dotMailer & Drip.
  • Excellent Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, Facebook Analytics, used to build effective reports and extract actionable insights from data.
  • A proven track record in planning and executing paid, SEO, SoMe and email marketing campaigns, experience setting up automation campaigns and evidence of growing email engagement.
  • Social media content and advertising management across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram.
  • Experienced in HTML/JavaScript with strong knowledge of search engine optimisation and advanced Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong project management with the ability to work well under pressure, juggling numerous complex projects.
  • Excellent organisational and team management skills with recent experience in managing and optimising agency partner budgets.
  • Up-to-date and experienced in implementing latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with proven experience in writing brilliant content that attracts, engages and converts prospects into customers.
  • Experienced in running photography and video production shoots that deliver brand building, compelling content.
  • Experience in presenting to internal and external partners, conveying messages that are easily understood and acted upon.
  • Management of at least 3 digital end-to-end marketing campaigns that delivered double digit lead generation conversion rate.


  • Marketing Degree or Business degree with a CIM Diploma.
  • 5 years digital B2B or B2C marketing experience.
  • Google analytics and Google Ads certification.
