With revenues exceeding £1 billion, the career trajectory for a Key Account Manager / National Account Manager are boundless.

Already a highly motivated and dynamic Key Account Manager or Regional Sales Manager within construction, builders merchant or trade. You will take both strategic and operational responsibilities. Your primary task will be to improve performance and continuously create situations for account growth as well as account penetration.

Some aspects of this exciting Key Account Manager’s role include:

Managing & growing a portfolio of existing key accounts, giving a high level of service and solutions to their resellers – using a strong strategy to gain market share and gain listing for new products and ranges. Working with internal stakeholders to maximise these key accounts for the business. You will have a rich history of prospecting & open new accounts to be handed over to sales team once open & trading.

Strategic development of nominated accounts to increase sustainable profitable sales growth. Achieving and exceeding margin, ASP, value and volume sales targets.

Working with the regions and other Sales/Marketing team members to deliver commercial objectives and targets.

Producing accurate sales forecasting for the accounts. Establishing and maintaining managerial and operating procedures to ensure appropriate business controls, especially around sales initiatives, payment terms, rebates and complaint handling.
