Area Sales Manager - Birmingham, West Midlands

Opportunity to join one of the market leaders in this sector!

£40,000 - £50,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Commission + Other benefits and Incentives

As one of the leading Retail & Trade Distribution businesses in the UK, our client has undergone massive changes over the last 12 months transforming the business by making key hires at board and leadership level to help shape new strategies that will take the business forward to achieve it's growth plans for 2024 and beyond.

One of the areas these changes have happened are on the B2B side of the business, so with a new Head of department joining the team they are now keen to add a number of new Area Sales Manager to the team across key areas of the UK including the Midlands.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships more effectively and developing these accounts by identifying where the opportunities lie to increase their trading revenue.

Already a successful Area Sales Manager or Account Manager, you will be confident, outgoing, resilient and driven to building new relationships with local trades and independents of the end consumer.

Your Skills & Unique Attributes

You must have area sales management experience where you have sold into both a trade and retail environment ideally within home enhancement.

Previous hires have come from different backgrounds and have sold everything from paint, tiles, taps, appliances, kitchens and bathrooms.

You will be a charismatic professional who is organised, have excellent communication and time management skills along with the drive and ambition to succeed.

Finally, you will enjoy and thrive in hunting out opportunity, building new relationships and developing existing accounts to achieve targets.
