Due to an internal promotion we now wish to engage with professional, passionate, results driven key account managers who are looking to not only grow their own career but to join us in our next phase of exciting growth.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with our key accounts, including retailers, distributors and house builders. You will play a critical role in achieving sales targets, understanding customer needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your focus will be on driving revenue growth, managing key accounts' requirements, developing long-term partnerships and well as seeking out new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key accounts. Develop a deep understanding of each account's business goals, challenges, and needs. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, providing exceptional customer service.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell from our Quooker range. Monitor sales performance and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities. Analyse market data to identify growth opportunities and potential threats. Provide regular market insights and feedback to the product development and marketing teams. Account Planning and Execution: Create and implement account plans, including sales forecasts and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of account plans. Track progress and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with key accounts. Ensure that contracts are accurate, compliant, and effectively managed. Resolve any disputes or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Customer Satisfaction: Regularly assess customer satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints. Work closely with the customer support team to ensure a high level of service. Strive for long-term customer loyalty and advocacy.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of account activities, sales data, and communication. Provide regular reports to management on key account performance and progress.
About you: Proven experience in key account management or sales, within the kitchen appliances or house build industry. Passionate about home enhancement, passionate about world class service. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Willingness to travel (inc overnight hotel stays) as needed to meet with key accounts.
