An exciting and progressive opportunity has recently been created for a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join their talented team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managerial roles and a proven track record in achieving ambitious company targets. As the Sales Manager, you will lead a small but rapidly growing team of around 7 individuals, driving sales strategies and initiatives to support the company’s expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a sales team of approximately 7 members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, including by scheduling and holding weekly accountability meetings with each member of the team to review KPIs for the week and advise on top opportunities.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the Group's goals and objectives, including strategies to drive growth in gross profit.
Target Achievement: Drive the team to meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Reporting:
Report to the Sales Director on a weekly basis
Generate and monitor product category reports to ensure continued growth and identify areas of drop-off.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts and metrics to senior management, including monthly reporting on profitability areas to aid in development of strategy.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.
Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and sales techniques to continuously improve the sales process.
Key Account Management: Management of national accounts to a high standard, ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded, and with a focus on driving growth through new product opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a sales managerial role, with a strong record of achieving sales targets ideally within a kitchen or home enhancement background.
Skills:
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
