My client is one of Europe's leading home enhancement and furniture specialists.

They trade through over 70 showrooms, have strategic plans in place to reach 200 showrooms by 2028 and are growing across a number of different channels. One of the success stories within UK retailing in recent years and an amazing career opportunity.

Due to an exciting period of growth and a solid plan in place for further expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Area Manager to lead the commercial activities within their region. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and maximize market share. You will develop the strategy, marketing, and sales best practice with your team of store manager’s, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within big ticket, home enhancement  sector, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a competitive market.

You will provide the essential strategic, pragmatic and inspirational leadership required to effectively coach and mentor your colleagues. Ensure energetic implementation, through the team, allowing for the delivery of maximum trading opportunities to maximise business performance and results. You will come from a big ticket sales background.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following experience.

Multi site experience - approx 15-25 stores or showrooms
Proven track record for delivering performance
Can demonstrate evidence of influencing skills
Able to work independently on own discipline
A minimum of 24 months field experience, ideally within a in sales related retail environment.
Strong Customer focus and passion for developing internal succession.
